July 21, 2009 Board Meeting Agenda Item #52 Title APPROVAL OF THE SARASOTA HIGH SCHOOL PERFORMING ARTS FIELD TRIP TO NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK, ON FEBRUARY 12, 2010 THROUGH FEBRUARY 16, 2010 Description Students of the Performing Arts will be given the opportunity to see the center of the Performing Arts industry in New York City.  They will participate in instructional classes taught by professionals, and will have the opportunity to attend Broadway musicals, see a ballet performance, and tour some of the most famous theater houses in the city. Recommendation That the Sarasota High School Performing Arts field trip to New York City, New York, on February 12, 2010 through February 16, 2010, be approved.
